Leading Government Agencies

During the last several years, St. Andrews Construction Services has served on many government projects which has enhanced our expertise and abilities.

U.S. Dept. of Agriculture / Forest Service

The U.S. Forest Service agency for the Department of Agriculture manages public lands in national forest and grasslands which encompass 193 million acres. St. Andrews provided a wide range of services for the Forest Service, including heating and electrical upgrades, power to lift stations, water treatments plants and campgrounds, often servicing remote locations.

FEMA

Part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA), works hard to reduce loss of life and property and protect the nation from all hazards. St. Andrews has developed a good working relationship with FEMA
by providing constructions services to offices all over the Rocky Mountain region. We
recently finished a design-build project involving the replacement of a UPS System at
one of FEMA’s crucial offices.

FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the agency of the United States Department of Transportation responsible for the regulation and oversight of civil aviation within the U.S., as well as operation and development of the National Airspace System. Its primary mission is to ensure safety of civil aviation.

GSA

With approximately 12,000 employees that provide support to other federal agencies, the GSA acts as a catalyst for nearly $66 billion in federal spending. For the past decade
St. Andrews has provided service to the GSA ranging from several energy management
projects to recent project involving the retrofit of one thousand traditional incandescent lights with compact fluorescent. Our client is now able to produce the same amount of light while significantly reducing their energy usage.

NREL

Focusing on sustainable energy, National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is the leading laboratory of the world for research and development in all aspects of clean energy and energy efficiency. St. Andrews has been awarded a $1 million task order for general construction ranging from road repairs to office remodels and mechanical upgrades.

NOAA

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) provides products and services ranging from daily weather forecasts, storm warnings, and climate control monitoring. St. Andrews has provided electrical and general construction services to NOAA for more than five years. As the next generation of research is needed St. Andrews was the prime contractor to build the new computer room. Completed on time and in budget this project was recognized for outstanding mechanical/electrical project in 2007 Silver Hard Hat Award, also featured in national magazines.
