Rusty Gonzales

Rusty Gonzales

Founder

Rusty has been the owner of St. Andrews since its inception in 1996, and has been in the electrical industry for over 35 years. Prior to founding St. Andrews, Rusty completed the Wyoming Joint Apprentice Training Program, and possesses a Colorado Master Electrician license.

His project management expertise earned him an Alliance Project Management Certificate, in addition to a certificate from Howard University for the School of Business Executive Education in the Government Contracting Competency Program. Currently, Rusty is participating in the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver as a part of their 2016 cohort.

Rusty has always prided himself on building relationships with both his clients, and his family, and has always considered his greatest accomplishment to be raising two sons and being able to support them through college. He enjoys cooking and creating original recipes, golfing, and traveling with his family.

Steve Wren

Steve Wren

Vice President

Steve is the senior project manager and Vice President of St. Andrews Construction. Steve has over 25 years of construction experience in the electrical field and still feels each project has something unique to take away and apply to the next.

Steve has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, and holds certifications in NFPA 70 and NFPA 72, Construction Quality Control, OSHA 30 hour, first aid, and CPR. He recently received recognition for project management of a Data Center Project for MEP systems containing the newest and most advanced technology with various special systems and power requirements. Steve is consistently recognized in his field for proactively identifying potential pitfalls and preparing a plan to work around challenges and make a project successful. The entire process of winning a bid, developing a plan, and seeing it implemented in order to make a profitable and successful project continues to be a thrill for him, even after 2+ decades.

When Steve isn’t in the office, you can find him working on his own home improvement projects, camping, or appreciating family time.

Vicki Wren

Vicki Wren

Project Manager

Vicki Wren is one of the project managers at St. Andrews Construction. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Vicki’s insight and dedication have become an integral part of the success that the management team displays.

In her ten years at St. Andrews, Vicki has managed over $30 million in projects.  Her most notable projects are the construction of the Ductbank of I-225 Light Rail expansion and electrical work for all the mechanical installed and retrofitted in 24 Denver public schools, both projects exceeding over $10 million dollars. Strong and transparent communication, an ability to multi-task, staying organized, and building relationships with her clients is what makes Vicki a stand out in the industry.  She is dedicated to making sure that St. Andrews is seen as a quality driven contractor and that its success lies within the relationships built through communication, trust and collaboration.

She possesses an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Design and Drafting, Bachelor’s in History from Metropolitan State College of Denver and a Masters in History from Arizona State University. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son, reading, genealogy and weekend trips to the mountains for camping and snowboarding.

Matt Levy

Matt Levy

Project Manager

As one of the newer project managers of the St. Andrews team, Matt brings over 10 years of expertise in the construction industry. He is a dedicated worker, whose main goal is to ensure that our clients receive the highest-quality services that meet and exceed their expectations.

With a B.S. in Construction Management and a minor in Business from Roger Williams University, Matt brings new insight and ideas to the company. Along with multiple certifications in the Leadership Succession Program (LSP), Kiewit University Supervisory School/ KieCore Training, facilitator on early career management as well as a certificate in Hard Dollar, just to name a few.

While not at work Matt enjoys any and all outdoor actives, especially skiing our beautiful Colorado mountain’s. When not on the slopes, Matt loves sharing his time doing philanthropy work with organizations like Everyday Warrior, Toys for Tots, Dolls for Daughters and working with our local food pantries.

Casey Snow

Head Estimator

As the head estimator, Casey oversees all of the analysis of blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects and services at St. Andrews Construction for past 9 years. He has been in the electrical trade for over 18 years and has several years of various construction management experiences prior to that.

Casey has an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Technology and Drafting and has completed the IBEW apprentice training, journeyman certification, is OSHA 30 hour trained, and has received certification in both NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) and Accubid Estimating training. Casey’s biggest asset to the management team is attention to detail which has enabled him to successfully bid on, and win, over $20 million in contracts.

When Casey isn’t putting in time at the office he’s spending it with his wife and two children, or up in the mountains skiing, snowboarding, hiking, hunting and rock climbing.

Wayne Phillips

Project Coordinator

Wayne is currently a project coordinator at St. Andrews and has been with the company for the past 5 years.   He has  44 years of experience in the electrical contracting trade, which allows him to share his knowledge and expertise with the entire company. He assists in managing data and material resources throughout the life of a project to achieve objectives of scope, cost, time, quality, and client satisfaction, and prides himself on always being able to diligently address an issue to accomplish a working compromise.

Wayne is certified as a Master Electrician, and as a project manager through the Project Management Institute. In addition to his professional certifications, Wayne possesses a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He considers his greatest achievements to be his five children, and six grandchildren.

Outside of the office, Wayne competitively shows horses, and enjoys riding motorcycles, single trac biking and mountain biking.

Aimee Wren

Aimee Wren

Project Administrator / Technology Manager

Aimee is one of our youngest team members here at St. Andrews Construction. She began her career in construction about 5 years ago and has been with St. Andrews for the last 3.5 years. She has moved through the ranks of the company very quickly and is now St. Andrews’ Project Administrator and Technology Manager.

Aimee has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as a B.A. in Environmental Science, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Northern Colorado. She didn’t stop there! She continued her education at the Universidad Del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and now possesses a certificate in Spanish Language and Literature. Aimee enjoys building her portfolio with numerous trainings such as the National Electrical Contractors Association Leadership Training, Human Resources Law, Payroll Law, Sales and Use Tax and lastly Workers Compensation.

During her down time Aimee enjoys climbing Colorado’s stunning mountain peaks exceeding 14,000 feet (fourteeners), so far she has climbed 38 of the 58 mountain peaks in Colorado. When not climbing mountains peaks, Aimee enjoys lending her time to the Denver CASA organization, which advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the Denver Juvenile Court system.

Dustin Azulay

Dustin Azulay

Project Coordinator

Dustin started in the construction industry 7 years ago and has been apart of the St. Andrews family for the last 4 years. Currently working as a Project Coordinator, Dustin ensures that projects and tasks get completed in a timely manner. He is an asset to our Project Managers and the entire company as a whole.

Finishing his DJEATC apprenticeship, Dustin received multiple certifications in NECA (Level 1 and Level 2) and Accubid Software.

During his downtime Dustin enjoys welding, woodworking and baking bread.

Ryan Burham

Ryan Burham

Project Estimator

As a proud father of 2 wonderful boys, Ryan knows the meaning of multitasking. Ryan is a fully licensed journeyman electrician through the IBEW Local 68. He has worked in nearly every aspect of electrical work including but not limited to: custom houses, commercial signage, infrastructure, municipal maintenance, and large-scale projects including The Westin at DIA and NREL switchgear replacement.

Ryan is currently a Project Estimator at St. Andrews Construction and has successfully bid on several million dollar projects in the year 2018. He has become a growing asset to the St. Andrews family for the past 4 years.

Being a true Coloradan, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family in the beautiful outdoors. He enjoys camping, hiking, dirt biking, bicycling and traveling to new areas.

Louie Cordova

Louie Cordova

Safety Director

Louie Cordova is the safety director at St. Andrews Construction. He comes to us with over 26 years of experience; 6 years in land development, 9 years in construction, and 11 years in construction management.

In his 15 years at St. Andrews, Louie has created and maintained a strong culture of safety with a proven track record resulting in an EMR rating for St. Andrews of .68. His safety initiatives have turned St. Andrews into one of the safest companies to work with in the Denver-metro area. Louie excels most at developing personal relationships with vendors, and always producing results before deadlines.

Outside of work, Louie can be found spending time with his family and good friends.
