Project Description:

Electrical and general contracting support for the installation of mechanical upgrades to fifteen Denver Public Schools. Mechanical equipment included fifteen steam boilers, eight condensing boilers, five centrifugal chillers and the restoration and replacement of 100,000 CFM air handling units. The chillers installed included three 200 ton units and two 400 ton units. Associated piping, pumps, dampers and instruments were installed to meet the new equipment requirements. St Andrews performed all the elements for the power and controls associated with the new mechanical equipment. In addition, we performed and / or subcontracted the architectural elements including demolition, masonry, door removal and replacements, painting, and coredrilling. St Andrews worked hand in hand with US Engineering to perform this project with a tight schedule and numerous field challenges.  One of the largest obstacles overcome was performing the work at various locations across Denver, it required strict management and attention to detail.
